Requirements

Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Structural Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or other related fields with 0-3 years postdoctoral experience or a minimum of 8-10 years of experience performing progressively advanced duties beyond a B.Sc. degree
Hands-on experience with cell culture
Deep understanding and hands-on experience characterizing biomolecules using SPR techniques
Strong critical, scientific, and strategic thinking skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects to meet timelines
Expertise in characterization of interactions with cell surface targets/membrane proteins (preferred)
Solid understanding of the fundamentals of antibody structure and function (desired)

Responsibilities

Design and perform real-time interaction cytometry assays to determine binding to cell surface targets
Conduct SPR binding analysis to determine binding and activity properties
Design and implement new techniques and strategies to study biophysical characteristics of assets and to optimize the Biophysics characterization workflow
Independently interpret and communicate the results to program teams and management
Function as a project team representative for the Biophysics group
