Requirements

  • 8+ years in software engineering, with experience in large-scale distributed system development, including hands-on operational experience

Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the codebase by designing, developing, testing, and deploying code that supports complex functional areas
  • Architect and implement modern, world-class services that are scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant
  • Lead the architecture, development, and optimization of the SailPoint platform
  • Have a clear vision for the SailPoint platform and develop a long-term strategy to achieve its goals
  • Provide technical expertise in software development and make informed decisions about technical architecture and design to deliver for the business
  • Champion technology and architecture-related investments and advocate for prioritizing this work
  • Partner with product management to envision future features and help plan product roadmaps
  • Define solution architectures that align with business needs in collaboration with product management and engineering teams
  • Facilitate collaborative design discussions and drive design reviews
  • Implement solutions that are high-quality, secure, and observable
  • Contribute to reviews of design, code, artifacts, and metrics as an active team member
  • Provide regular feedback and drive continuous improvement to achieve ambitious goals
  • Assist in improving architectural standards and best practices
  • Build proof-of-concepts to validate architectural approaches and evaluate emerging technologies
