Requirements

Candidates should have strong generalist Python skills with significant experience in PyTorch. They must possess recent experience and understanding of visual AI, including diffusion models and transformers, which can come from professional work, academic research, or hobby projects. A passion for experimenting with multi-modal generative AI and familiarity with recent research is essential. Experience with cluster orchestration tools like SLURM and high-performance large-scale ML systems with over 100 GPUs is desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Research Engineer will implement cutting-edge generative AI features for inclusion in the product. They will work closely with Research and Product teams to fine-tune models, which includes dataset creation, model fine-tuning, and evaluation. Additionally, they will build tools and methods for evaluating models and identify and implement solutions. The role also involves training and running ML classifiers and embeddings to categorize data by quality and other attributes.
