Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of experience demonstrating strong sales skills, comprehensive product knowledge, and established relationships within the assigned territory and channel. They are required to have demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, be motivated and energetic with robust project management and selling abilities, and possess the ability to drive objectives relatively autonomously. Furthermore, candidates must hold a Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 license, and be capable of extensive travel (approximately 90% of the time).
The Senior Regional Sales Director will represent Virtus Investment Partners’ full complement of investment offerings, including mutual funds, SMAs, and ETFs, to investment professionals and intermediaries such as Independents, RIAs, and Wirehouses. They will develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with advisors, lead sales initiatives with intermediaries within a defined territory, identify client needs and coordinate efforts to serve assigned intermediaries, and conduct sales and product training meetings for assigned territories. Additionally, they will serve as a consultant on practice management and portfolio construction.
