Requirements

Can work remotely within Switzerland (welcome to St. Gallen main office or Zurich co-working space)
4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, ideally in SaaS
Deep expertise in automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Expertise in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Experience with performance/load testing, security testing, and shift-left in agile environments
Analytical skills to identify bottlenecks in team processes and recommend solutions
Strong coaching and facilitation skills: teaching via workshops, mentoring without authority, and clear communication
Technically versatile: comfortable with SaaS architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), diverse stacks (React, TypeScript, JS), SDLC/STLC, and tracking quality KPIs
Collaborative, empathetic team player who is proactive and passionate about product quality, preferring code-first solutions and continuous improvement
Fluent in English

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve automated tests in Playwright and Cypress, ensuring they are stable, meaningful, and well-organized (SOLID principles, Page object pattern, etc.)
Work with CI/CD setup using GitHub Actions, Slack, ClickUp, Linear integrations, and automation tools like make.com or Tray.io
Solve complex test scenarios, diving into React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related frameworks as needed
Measure and report on the impact of enabling initiatives, fostering continuous improvement and providing visibility into quality metrics
Coach stream-aligned teams on adopting effective QA strategies, tools, and practices to boost product quality and delivery speed
Conduct assessments of current testing processes, identify gaps, and collaborate on tailored improvement plans
Deliver targeted training sessions, workshops, or pair-programming sessions to upskill developers and testers in test automation, TDD/BDD, and more
