Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of U.S. Federal or international government proposal development experience (or 5+ years working with U.S. Federal or International government requirements in lieu of direct experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with proposal methodologies (e.g., Shipley), compliance matrices, and implementing project management tools and processes
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
  • Strong technical writing experience, capable of conflating complex technical ideas into succinct prose
  • Excellent verbal communication and team coordination skills
  • Confident team leader able to manage and direct proposal efforts among global stakeholders
  • Exceptional communicator able to develop high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals
  • Extreme ownership as primary cross-functional lead for proposals
  • Attention to detail for developing compliance matrices and maintaining configuration management

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage international government and commercial proposals across Asia business
  • Manage, write, and respond to requests for information
  • Balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment, including proposal management, technical content generation, and process improvement
  • Manage and author technical content for requests for information, abstracts, and quad charts; articulate complex technical concepts
  • Support presentation and briefing development, graphics formatting, copy editing, and knowledge management
  • Support Account Executives to close deals and grow revenue by managing business development operations
  • Work closely with BD, legal, finance, marketing, engineering, program, and product management teams to ensure proposal compliance across technical, management, pricing, and past performance sections
  • Provide support to BD team leadership on miscellaneous projects, including presentation materials, competitive intelligence gathering, market information, business operations support, and top-of-funnel management
  • Manage proposal lifecycle from kickoff to finish, including stakeholder collaboration and executive reviews
  • Lead stakeholder engagement for customer insights, market information, and business development strategy communication
