Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience in proposal writing and 5 years of project management experience. Strong project management skills, familiarity with complex proposal processes and RFP/RFI requirements, excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint are essential. Experience with Responsive or a content management database, along with experience developing content in healthcare, financial, technical, or other complex industries, is required. Benefits Administration industry experience is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Proposal Manager will manage RFP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality responses for Benefits Administration proposals to support new business and renewal revenue. This role involves collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Subject Matter Experts to develop compliant and effective proposals, analyzing RFP/RFI requirements, conducting research, writing, editing, and proofreading proposal content, and coordinating the proposal review process. The manager will also maintain the proposal database, ensure correct formatting and branding, manage multiple proposals simultaneously to meet deadlines, track proposal metrics, and provide general Sales Operations support.
