Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3-5 years of post-baccalaureate work experience in an accounting function; experience in Real Estate or Property Management is a plus
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with PMS systems such as Entrata is a plus
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Attentive to detail
- Manages multiple projects and meets goals and deadlines timely and consistently
- Versatile, flexible, and thrives in an environment where there are constantly changing priorities
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Works well with all levels of management
- Works well independently and as a member of various teams
- Requires minimal guidance to accomplish general tasks

Responsibilities
- Maintains general ledgers in compliance with GAAP and update monthly
- Prepares applicable monthly journal entries
- Analyzes and prepares monthly financials for assigned properties
- Executes monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Researches and reports financial and operational variances
- Reviews revenue and contracts, monthly
- Reviews month end financials prepared by the Property Accounting Team. Provide insight into variances to the Directors and Managers
- Provides support to the Operations team as needed, regarding financial performance of assigned properties
- Responsible for monthly accruals, TRS entries, ground leases and completeness of Cap Ex review and proper tags
- Responds to auditor inquiries as requested
