  • Experience as a Senior Product Designer, capable of acting as the design leader in a decentralized triad with Product Managers and Engineers
  • Strong user-centered design skills, grounded in user understanding to uncover opportunities, validate ideas, and contribute to long-term product vision
  • Ability to work as the sole designer for a product area, driving discovery through delivery and iteration
  • Skills in turning insights and sketchbook ideas into intuitive, high-quality, polished end-to-end user experiences
  • Capability to uncover user and business problems, shape solutions, and translate them into designs
  • Comfort working in early-stage environments (e.g., Win Work team), defining problems, leading discovery, bringing structure to ambiguity, and building alignment across product and engineering
  • Experience designing scalable, intuitive experiences for platform foundations, integrations, developer tools, third-party partnerships, and ecosystem cohesion (relevant for Platform Experience team)
  • Expertise in defining end-to-end experiences for integrating partner inventory, pricing, product data into workflows like quoting, scheduling, and job execution (relevant for Supply team)
  • Ability to design growth tools for customer attraction and job winning (relevant for Win Work team)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers in a decentralized triad as the design leader for your product area
  • Uncover user and business problems, shape solutions, and translate them into polished, end-to-end designs
  • Drive discovery through delivery and iteration as the sole designer for your product area
  • Contribute to the long-term vision of your team, driving meaningful impact for home service professionals
  • For Platform Experience team: Shape foundations of Jobber’s product ecosystem by designing scalable, intuitive experiences for integrations, developer tools, third-party partnerships, platform-wide surfaces, extensibility, cohesion, and ecosystem evolution
  • For Supply team: Define end-to-end experience integrating partner-provided products into Jobber’s workflows, including scalable strategy for partner inventory, pricing, product data in quoting, scheduling, and job execution
  • For Win Work team: Design growth tools to help home service businesses attract customers and win jobs; lead discovery, create intuitive experiences, bring structure to ambiguity, build alignment, and turn ideas into impactful solutions
  • Report to a Design Leader for skill development and career growth
  • Stretch skills, expand influence, and help develop the product
