Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GMP regulations, and experience with process validation (VP, IQ, OQ, PQ) are essential, as is the ability to lead technical improvements and implement process changes.
The Senior Process Optimisation Engineer will apply a prioritised approach in Value Centred Engineering to achieve quality, service, and cost improvements, working with engineering leaders to deliver business objectives. They will monitor line performance, develop event plans to remediate issues, and create supporting documentation, SOPs, and process work instructions compliant with GMP. This role involves providing technical leadership, assisting with new product and process introductions, conducting gauge R&R studies, carrying out structured problem-solving, and leading projects including scoping, budgeting, and execution. Furthermore, the engineer will provide technical guidance to technicians, interface with cross-functional teams and vendors, foster continuous improvement, observe quality management system requirements, monitor performance metrics, and adhere to EHS regulations.
