  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Material Science and Engineering/Opto-Mechanical Engineering/Physics/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in R&D department or process engineering in the semiconductor, optics, or PCB industry
  • High capability and understanding of machine software and recipes as well as process integration
  • Self-managed, initiative, and innovative
  • Superior problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Teamwork player as well as a sole worker

  • High level of written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English

Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize advanced optical assembly procedures and recipes
  • Work with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams, including machine vendors, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
  • Develop, customize, and qualify complex automated assembly systems
  • Establish new assembly methodologies using novel equipment and processes
  • Lead process failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and execute Process Transfer packages for high-volume manufacturing and support production ramp-up
  • Lead projects from concept to implementation and qualification, managing schedules, priorities, and team coordination
  • Ensure methodical, data-driven, and well-documented execution throughout all stages of the project
