Senior Staff Design Automation Engineer

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical design. They should have proven experience in RTL2GDS flows and methodologies, a deep understanding of all aspects of physical construction and integration, and familiarity with physical design verification methodology including LVS/DRC.
The Senior Physical Design Backend Engineer will be responsible for physical design of blocks according to specifications, targeting for the best power, area, and performance. This includes resolving complex timing and congestion problems, working on a variety of challenging designs, and participating in flows development. Daily work will involve all aspects of physical design chip development (RTL2GDS) such as synthesis, power and clock distribution, place and route, timing closure, power and noise analysis, and physical verification.
