Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in provisioning of network switches and routing devices, emphasis on Cisco configuration experience (NXOS, IOS, IOS-XR, etc.) in enterprise class data centers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Sciences or Operations preferred
  • Network Certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) including Security preferred
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) network technologies including infrastructures (switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, WAN architectures, load-balancing and DNS, Wireless, VoIP, etc.)
  • Analytical and complex problem-solving skills; troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system-wide issues, including application issues, network issues and vulnerability mitigation
  • Proven ability to drive results in oneself and others; ability to manage time, resources and priorities; develop plans, work through adversity and consistently meet deadlines and produce effective results
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively in all business relationships and various levels of management in a clear and direct manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork traits
  • Adeptness in working in close cooperation with teammates; ability to build solid working relationships across functional boundaries

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with project teams consisting of Design & Architecture, Planning, Project management teams and others on specific solution designs and implementations
  • Provide network engineering support to maintain and upgrade the enterprise network infrastructure (Cisco IOS, NXOS, NDFC, etc.)
  • Provide testing and ongoing sustainment of networking infrastructure environments
  • Ensure strict adherence to change control methodologies, network configuration and compliance standards
