Requirements

  • BS (MS or PhD preferred) in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in sensor signal processing and sensor fusion algorithms (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Proficiency in C (required); C++ and Python preferred
  • Experience with GNSS-aided inertial navigation systems and performance analysis of navigation systems, including navigation state error estimation with knowledge of optimal state estimation filters such as Kalman Filter and Extended Kalman Filter (EKF)
  • Deep understanding of classical and modern navigation methodologies
  • GNSS-aided inertial navigation sensor fusion algorithm experience

Responsibilities

  • Craft the vision and roadmap for ANELLO navigation products
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including systems, sensor, control, software, simulations, and business teams
  • Participate in navigation tasks, including system trade studies, component modeling of inertial measurement units (IMU), global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), camera, radar, LiDAR, and simulation of navigation algorithms
  • Define requirements for vehicle sensors and state estimation software, including sensors selection, voting, monitoring, fault detection, and sensor fusion
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate complex hardware/software systems
  • Contribute to architecture concepts, concept of operations, and technology trade studies
  • Analyze, source, and select sensor solutions for use in the navigation system
  • Provide technical presentations and support to ANELLO team members
