Requirements
Candidates should have prior experience in leading ML teams in applied research and production, as well as setting and executing technical direction to build or refine products. Experience working cross-discipline in matrixed organizations is necessary, along with proficiency in Python and related ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR. Familiarity with large-scale distributed training and inference is required, along with strong mentorship, communication, and problem-solving skills. A demonstrated passion for applied ML models and products is essential, as is working proficiency in Arabic. Bonus points for experience in B2B companies within the ML space.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will plan and execute large-group projects from ideation to production while ensuring cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and other disciplines. You will mentor a distributed team of engineers and identify opportunities and gaps in existing models. Collaboration with product teams to develop solutions is expected, as well as engaging with partner organizations. Additionally, you will assist legal teams with patent preparations on developed IP and contribute to shaping the company's direction while wearing multiple hats.
