Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems and enclosures using SolidWorks for advanced medical devices
Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing specifications
Conduct tolerance analysis and design for manufacturability (DFM)
Work closely with supply chain and program management team to engage with contract manufacturers and component vendors globally
Work with contract manufacturers to design and optimize manufacturing processes for scale production
Lead design for assembly (DFA) and cost optimization initiatives
Design and execute experimental protocols using Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology
Develop test fixtures and validation procedures for medical device compliance
Analyze statistical data to drive design decisions and process improvements
Work closely with electronics teams on mechanical-electrical integration
Collaborate with industrial designers on form factor and user experience
Interface with firmware engineers on sensor mounting and signal optimization
