Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze material samples for investigations involving complex variables; adapt methodologies based on initial evaluations to ensure accurate results
Operate and maintain advanced Chemistry & Materials Engineering instrumentation, including SEM, EDS, WDS, real-time X-ray systems, XRF for elemental analysis and plating thickness measurements, XRD, salt spray and mixed flowing gas test chambers, high-resolution digital microscopes
Coordinate analytical workflows between materials engineers and chemists to optimize lab efficiency and throughput
Collaborate closely with chemists to resolve technical challenges and ensure comprehensive analysis
Conduct detailed Root-Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) to identify and address product and process issues
Serve as a technical representative on cross-functional teams across the organization, providing expert guidance on materials-related concerns
