Requirements

  • Highly experienced in technical accounting and statutory audit
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP, local GAAP/IFRS, and complex accounting issues (e.g., lease accounting, business combinations, equity-linked instruments, consolidations, fair value)
  • Strong knowledge of FASB developments, SOX readiness, and internal controls over financial reporting
  • Experience managing end-to-end statutory audit processes across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Ability to serve as primary liaison with external auditors for U.S. and international requirements
  • Proven track record in IPO readiness, external audits, and financial statement preparation
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and global finance teams

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve complex accounting issues (e.g., lease accounting, business combinations, equity-linked instruments, consolidations, fair value)
  • Develop and maintain technical accounting policies in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, and Investor Relations to support IPO readiness, external audits, and financial statement preparation
  • Monitor evolving FASB developments and communicate impacts to executive leadership
  • Manage the end-to-end statutory audit process across multiple international subsidiaries and entities
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for both U.S. and international audit requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements under local GAAP/IFRS for all relevant jurisdictions
  • Coordinate audit schedules, deliverables, and responses to auditor requests, ensuring audit readiness throughout the year
  • Work cross-functionally with global finance teams to ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Drive SOX readiness and internal controls over financial reporting as part of IPO preparation
  • Proactively identify and address accounting, reporting, and compliance risks across global operations
  • Build and mentor a high-performing technical accounting team
