Requirements

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in Field Engineering or a related technical pre-sales role. A proven track record of building and managing high-performing technical teams, strong leadership and coaching skills, and experience in the Observability ecosystem are essential. Familiarity with open-source technologies and a deep understanding of the EMEA market are also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Field Engineering will be responsible for building, managing, and mentoring a team of Field Engineers across EMEA. This role involves overseeing global go-to-market execution in partnership with sales leaders, focusing on customer acquisition and accelerating the technical win. Responsibilities include coaching the team, collaborating with Solutions Engineering to maintain demo environments, working with marketing on top-of-funnel programs, and partnering with Product Management and Engineering to influence the product roadmap based on field feedback. The manager will also own and report on team performance, driving customer evaluations through discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and technical validation.
