Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve the global sponsorship strategy to align with Airwallex’s brand positioning and business goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new sponsorship opportunities across sports, business, and cultural platforms
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of sponsorship campaigns — from creative ideation to delivery across digital, media, events, and product integration
  • Collaborate with internal creative, product, and comms teams to ensure activations drive engagement and resonate with customers
  • Oversee rights delivery, ensuring Airwallex fully leverages all entitlements across media, digital, and experiential channels
  • Develop KPIs and measurement frameworks to assess sponsorship ROI, brand lift, and commercial impact
  • Deliver insights and recommendations to optimise ongoing and future sponsorship investments
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with sponsorship partners (e.g., sports teams, event organisers, media owners)
  • Brief, guide, and oversee agency partners (creative, media, activation) to ensure seamless execution
  • Provide cross-functional leadership, working closely with regional marketing, brand, comms, and partnerships teams to ensure sponsorship investments deliver against commercial and brand objectives
