Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on machine learning platforms. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systems is essential, along with strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Familiarity with MLOps principles and practices is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Machine Learning Platform Engineer will own or contribute to technical designs for the feature platform, training platform, serving platform, and underlying operational infrastructure, ensuring incremental delivery and impact. They will develop, maintain, and enhance reusable frameworks for AI/ML model development and deployment, establishing best practices in machine learning engineering and MLOps. The role involves collaborating with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to understand needs and accelerate AI/ML development, mentoring team members, and leading build vs buy discussions on technologies for the AI platform. Additionally, they will contribute to designing an AI platform adhering to responsible AI principles and simplifying privacy compliance.
