Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Candidates should possess familiarity with traditional machine learning algorithms such as classification and regression, and experience with MLOps processes, along with expertise in building, testing, measuring, and deploying machine learning models in production. They should also have experience with LLM engineering, including fine-tuning foundation models like GPT-4 and Claude, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and prompt engineering, alongside knowledge of vector databases and embedding models. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have prior engineering project leadership experience utilizing Python (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy), SQL, Linux/Mac command-line tools, and familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the design and development of ML applications across the product portfolio, with a strong focus on generative AI and large language model (LLM) solutions, providing architecture and shaping coding standards. You will evangelize best practices for software engineering, partner with multiple teams to encourage code reusability and continuous improvement, guide the transformation of human data into prototypes, research industry tools and techniques, and meet frequently with stakeholders to understand business and technical variables and distill them into strategic choices. You will also work with external customers as a consultant or solution Machine Learning Engineer, prepare and submit conference and journal articles, and support multiple scrum teams.
