Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
  • Overall 7-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
  • Knowledge of managing logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, and ERP) for order tracking, inventory control, and shipping records
  • Knowledge of preparing invoices and uploading them on GeM portal
  • Experience in checking vendor invoices as per rate agreement, uploading on portal, obtaining approvals, and following up with finance for payments
  • Experience in tracking demo instruments and preparing documents through SAP for movements, following up with carriers
  • Ability to share weekly inventory reports with stakeholders (downloading from SAP, identifying short shelf-life inventory)
  • Experience in following up with vendors to collect provisions and sharing with finance team monthly
  • Familiarity in handling internal and external audits
  • Experience in developing SOPs and process flows
  • Knowledge of Trade Compliance: managing import/export operations in India (Harmonized Schedule classification, valuation, country of origin)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Indian Customs regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes
  • Experience maintaining standards and processes for inbound/outbound goods movement and oversight of customs brokers in APAC
  • Experience working with Danaher Compliance team on regulatory updates and compliance risk monitoring in APAC
  • Knowledge of providing regulatory consultation to stakeholders
  • Experience with Global Trade Solution management systems and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of duty drawback and RODTEP process
  • Good to have: OSGT knowledge (vendor and customer codes screening, removing trade blocks)
  • Experience maintaining DSR reports

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations at 3PL including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and transportation
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or customs problems
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to arrange pick-up, delivery, and storage of goods
  • Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, and ERP) for order tracking, inventory control, and shipping records; resolve discrepancies and complaints related to shipping or inventory
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and customer service to meet delivery deadlines
  • Track demo instruments, prepare documents through SAP for movements, and follow up with carriers for delivery
  • Share weekly inventory reports with stakeholders (download from SAP, identify short shelf-life inventory)
  • Follow up with vendors, collect provisions, and share with finance team every month before closing
  • Handle internal and external audits
  • Develop SOPs and process flows
  • Manage import/export operations in India related to Harmonized Schedule classification, valuation, and country of origin determination
  • Analyze and interpret Indian Customs regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes
  • Maintain standards and processes for Cepheid in the APAC region related to inbound/outbound movement of goods and oversight of customs brokers
  • Work closely with the Danaher Compliance team on regulatory updates and ongoing monitoring of compliance risk in APAC
  • Provide regulatory consultation and communication to stakeholders in various business functions
  • Maintain DSR reports
