Responsibilities

Advise internal business stakeholders on North American policy and regulatory activity to support Kraken licensing and implementation efforts
Gather and interpret market and regulatory intelligence, anticipate changes, and inform commercial go-to-market strategy, needs case, value case, and product roadmap
Create detailed written communications (memos, presentations, comments) for internal and external stakeholders
Navigate and track regulatory filings and databases to gather intelligence and data for marketing, value proposition, commercial strategy, and client engagements
Build relationships with external audiences (e.g., client regulatory teams, regulators, partners) to establish Kraken as a thought-leader and problem solver
Engage proactively in commercial negotiations and strategic discussions with client prospects to align with the regulatory landscape
Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, including utilities, public utility commissions, government agencies, technology implementers, and trade groups
Contribute original thought leadership and market influence (e.g., external panels, trade conferences, authoring media content)
Perform detailed analysis of complex policy and regulatory landscapes governing utility investments in innovative software
Work with partners and clients to advance adoption, integration, and regulatory alignment to accelerate growth and close deals
Provide ongoing regulatory support to clients
Help guide regional prioritization
