Responsibilities

  • Advise internal business stakeholders on North American policy and regulatory activity to support Kraken licensing and implementation efforts
  • Gather and interpret market and regulatory intelligence, anticipate changes, and inform commercial go-to-market strategy, needs case, value case, and product roadmap
  • Create detailed written communications (memos, presentations, comments) for internal and external stakeholders
  • Navigate and track regulatory filings and databases to gather intelligence and data for marketing, value proposition, commercial strategy, and client engagements
  • Build relationships with external audiences (e.g., client regulatory teams, regulators, partners) to establish Kraken as a thought-leader and problem solver
  • Engage proactively in commercial negotiations and strategic discussions with client prospects to align with the regulatory landscape
  • Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, including utilities, public utility commissions, government agencies, technology implementers, and trade groups
  • Contribute original thought leadership and market influence (e.g., external panels, trade conferences, authoring media content)
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex policy and regulatory landscapes governing utility investments in innovative software
  • Work with partners and clients to advance adoption, integration, and regulatory alignment to accelerate growth and close deals
  • Provide ongoing regulatory support to clients
  • Help guide regional prioritization
