Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience in investor reporting or financial analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with investor reporting systems such as MSP, Freddie Mac Portal, Fannie Mae Portal, and Ginnie Mae Portal. Knowledge of mortgage servicing and loan servicing processes is also beneficial.
The Senior Investor Reporting Analyst will prepare accurate reporting and remitting in accordance with investor guidelines, including daily, monthly, and interim reporting and remitting obligations. They will reconcile actual activity to reported activity, compare loan resolution data reports against modification agreements, prepare reports and remit funds associated with payoffs, short sales, and interim events, perform pool to security reconciliation and test of cash, establish and maintain pool headers, ensure advances are made in a timely and accurate manner, process monthly fees, research and resolve variances in investor reporting systems, maintain copies and track trailing adjustments, assist with bank reconciliation, monitor P&I custodial accounts, establish and manage relations with investor counterparts, compile and reconcile remittance reports of loans serviced by prior servicer, prepare reports required by regulatory agencies, and assist with internal and external audit requests.
