Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with a focus on .NET Core Web API
  • Strong understanding of C# and object-oriented programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
  • Proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, and LINQ
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle
  • Familiarity with messaging and event-driven systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus)
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs using .NET Core
  • Design and implement scalable and secure microservices-based architectures
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and business analysts to design API solutions
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security best practices
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
  • Integrate third-party services, APIs, and databases
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Maintain and update API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Deploy and monitor applications using CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
