Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and a minimum of fifteen years of experience in industrial water and wastewater treatment. They should be self-motivated, capable of working effectively with others, and demonstrate excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A Master’s degree is desired.
The Senior Industrial Water Engineer will provide technical planning, process/mechanical design, and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities include participating in client activities, preparing engineering calculations and process models, utilizing technical writing skills to document analyses and designs, preparing design reports and construction plans, assisting with specifications and permit submittals, monitoring project progress, documenting design changes, conducting on-site inspections, preparing project reports, and assisting with proposal preparation. They will also attend meetings, participate in professional groups, publish papers, serve as an active member of the Wade Trim Water and Wastewater Treatment Practice, maintain client relations, ensure a safe working environment, and maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
