Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and a minimum of fifteen years of experience in industrial water and wastewater treatment projects. A Master’s degree is desired, and strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills are required. The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work effectively with others.
The Senior Industrial Water Engineer will provide technical planning, process/mechanical design, and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment projects. They will participate in client positioning activities, prepare engineering calculations and process models, utilize effective technical writing skills to document alternative analyses, and prepare design reports and construction plans. The role also includes assisting with specifications and permit submittals, monitoring project budgets and progress, documenting design changes, conducting on-site inspections, preparing project status reports, and assisting in the preparation of proposals. Furthermore, the engineer will attend client meetings, participate in industrial professional groups, publish papers, and serve as an active member of the Wade Trim Water and Wastewater Treatment Practice, maintaining excellent client relations and a safe working environment.
