Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or Program Management
  • Experience with MRP Systems, Procurement Systems, Supplier Collaborations or related
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to handle very complex and multi-tier capacity constraint issues to resolution with goal to eliminate potential plant disruptions
  • Ability to understand complex problems created by dynamic business environment and come up with creative/innovative solutions to solve real-time business problems

Responsibilities

  • Develop operational plans or new processes in support of the organization’s business strategies with direct impact on overall business results
  • Lead a team of Innovation Analysts and provide employee development, training, drive the performance management process, and manage an efficient organizational structure
  • Identify automation opportunities to reduce information and process friction between traditional silos and streamline processes through the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP) lifecycle
  • Work with IT and external partners to implement streamlined processes
  • Execute deliverables in support of GPSC organization's business objectives
  • Guide one of the key areas within Global Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product, and financial initiatives
  • Drive innovation in procurement, planning, supply chain, and logistics processes
