Requirements

Strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning
Deep knowledge in NLP, Computer Vision, and GenAI, including architectures like Transformers, BERT, GPT, etc
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python. Must be an expert in writing ML code
Working experience with full-stack web development (using either Python backend + React frontend or AI builders like lovable.dev and builder.io)
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark. Can build vector DB
Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art ML and DL as applied to large-scale datasets
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK, llama-index, Langchain, Lang Graph)
Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques. Strong Math background
Solid understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation techniques, vector DB, Agentic and RAG applications
Working experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS)
Working experience with deploying, monitoring, finetuning LLM/VLM models and building AI agents
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field)
Proven experience as a GenAI Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
Develop and implement AI models, machine learning algorithms, Gen AI applications to solve business problems
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Develop processes and tools to finetune, evaluate, monitor, and analyze model performance and accuracy
Use software design principles and AI Copilot/AI builders to develop production ready code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables
Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gen AI, data science and machine learning techniques
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists
