  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent for the specific role's responsibilities
  • 5-8 years of experience in configuration of software packages (application development is a nice to have, not required)
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban & other agile frameworks (does not need to be a requirement)
  • Demonstrated “agile-development” mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientation
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced agile environment, adapt to shifting urgencies, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively manage key business stakeholder relationships, and where required – customer and supplier partnerships/relationships
  • Highly proficient in teamwork and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to understand and propose solutions to configure package software or custom software development
  • Provide highly specialized technical skills according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration
  • Ensure design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promote only quality-tested code and do it on a frequent basis
  • Act as a key stakeholder or backup for Product Owner in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments
  • Review required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, service and business teams
  • Actively suggest solutions to drive down technical debt
  • Provide mentorship to junior FAs and BAs through Community of Practice and other informal forums and may supervise FAs in a team that does not have senior developers or a tech lead
  • Lead functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions & Foldouts
  • Lead functional analysis for domain/software RFP process
  • Lead SME around product(s) function and work with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements/functionality
  • Lead training of software package to key stakeholders as required
