Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Able to work in an energetic and agile environment
  • Act as an owner, not just a contributor, by taking responsibility for outcomes, pushing through ambiguity, and championing solutions that improve team efficiency and business impact
  • Eager to move fast, but recognize when to build for the future
  • Familiar with data platforming technologies (Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, etc.)
  • Familiar with some elements of the Carta tech stack (Python, Django, Javascript, Typescript, React, Postgres, GRPC, Kafka)

Responsibilities

  • Building self-serviceable data experiences that enable customers to automate their analytical and reporting workloads
  • Creating fault-tolerant data pipelines (oftentimes in real-time), collecting data across several of Carta's microservices as well as third-party systems
  • Drafting robust and sensible role-based controls that enable customers to govern fractional access to their data
  • Leveraging agentic AI technology to improve all aspects of the customer experience and our internal operational and developmental processes
  • Mentor emerging talent, fostering their growth and development
