Position Overview

Deel is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will play a key role in developing and improving our all-in-one payroll and HR platform, which is designed to unlock global opportunity for every person, team, and business. Our platform integrates HRIS, payroll, compliance, benefits, performance, and equipment management into a seamless experience, powered by AI and a fully owned payroll infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of a truly cross-functional team, collaborating with Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA.
  • Participate actively in product planning, from discovery through deployment, contributing input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop robust new features and APIs.
  • Continuously improve our industry-leading products and identify and fix bugs at "DeelSpeed."
  • Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of TypeScript and React.js, including Class Components, Functional Components, and React Hooks.
  • Great knowledge of state management tools.
  • Expertise in front-end essentials: HTML and CSS.
  • Firm understanding of server-side languages, specifically Node.js (used on the Back-End).
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Ability to advise on best practices and act as a thought leader in the field.
