Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of front-end software development experience, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional user experience. They must have 5+ years of experience with Javascript and/or Typescript, 3+ years with React and Redux, and 3+ years with HTML and CSS. Furthermore, candidates should have 3+ years of experience utilizing testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library, and 1+ year of experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.

Responsibilities

The Senior Front End Engineer will own new and existing UI features within the React application, from design to release, and will be responsible for shaping the developer experience through continuous improvements to the UI infrastructure and tooling. They will also own the frontend build pipeline, write high-quality code with tests and observability, and collaborate as part of an Agile team to scale and expand the Workday SaaS product, while providing technical guidance and mentoring to teammates.
