Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in designing modular FPGA solutions, and typical system architectures and design patterns for SoC and embedded processing systems design
  • Experience in FPGA development (sound VHDL knowledge, FPGA design flow, simulation, synthesis, mapping, and timing closure) preferably on Xilinx devices
  • Knowledge of most common communication interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe)
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA and SoC development

Responsibilities

  • Specification, implementation and testing of FPGA-based solutions for robotics, advanced vision systems, electromechanical control systems, sensor designs, high speed computing, hardware acceleration and real-time communication systems
  • Development of verification plans and testbenches for our design solutions leveraging advanced verification methods (e.g. UVM)
  • Ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable product in the field of your expertise
  • Ensuring design deliverables align with the Electrical and Software architecture
  • Participation in PCBA design reviews, systems / subsystems architecture reviews
  • Collaboration with the other Hardware, Systems, DevOps, and Software teams
  • Finding solutions to make development and verification more efficient and automated and improving quality
