Requirements

3-5 years of relevant experience (experience in a software business is preferred)
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and financial software analysis tools (NetSuite or other ERP experience is a plus)
Solid understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to come to the NYC office three-four days per week

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting to support budgeting and planning activities
Participate in the annual budgeting process, providing input and helping develop financial forecasts
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for management and stakeholders as required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, ensure data integrity, and provide financial insights for business initiatives
Assist in the development of financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track financial metrics, and provide recommendations for optimizing financial performance
Support strategic planning activities including goal setting, regional and product analysis
Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management
