Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, with experience in analysis, forecasting, and modeling preferably within global high-tech
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to effectively communicate with both Finance and Engineering leaders
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced financial modeling, with ability to build and convey business insight
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in teams to identify and solve problems collectively
  • High-level analytical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnership with Engineering and Marketing leaders supporting global investments to ensure that spending is aligned to key objectives and initiatives (investments include headcount, contractors, software and hardware infrastructure, tools, and licenses)
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the robotics industry and the company to analyze investments, identify cost-effective options, assess project priorities, and provide solutions for the business
  • Prepare forecasts for investments, headcount, operating and capital expenditures and analyze quarterly variances to forecasts by identifying associated risks and opportunities
  • Establish efficient processes for monthly and quarterly close and performance reporting
  • Implement practices for budget management and investment optimization
  • Improve processes to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Build and maintain a strong collaborative partnership with Engineering and Marketing leaders to strategically align roadmaps and manage the financial planning of this organization
