Requirements

Prior experience building, maintaining & scaling reliable, high-volume distributed systems
Can reason about ambiguous problems from first principles and propose creative solutions
Strong CS fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems)
Contributes to attracting and retaining engineers through technical leadership, collaboration, and/or enablement
Track record of mentoring and growing engineers who work with you. You make engineers around you more productive
Bonus Points For
Prior engineering management experience, especially on teams that build and operate highly critical services
Prior Experience with database technologies, including their internal design and implementation
Prior Experience with multi-tenant systems, with focus on reliability, performance, isolation and security
