Requirements

  • Highly experienced in leading global EHS strategies and facilities management
  • Expertise in ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and SA8000 programs, including audit planning, execution, certification, and CAPA management
  • Knowledge of EHS metrics (e.g., TRIR/LTIR/DART, near-miss, CAPA cycle time, energy/waste/water intensity) and governance frameworks
  • Experience driving safety culture, including leadership behaviors, reporting culture, behavior-based safety, stop-work authority, and global training
  • Proficiency in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action programs
  • Ability to monitor standards, laws, best practices, and translate into policies, SOPs, and roadmaps
  • Capability to represent the company with ELT, regulators, customers, auditors, and industry associations
  • Experience managing global facilities footprint scaling (e.g., from 7 to 12–13 sites) and leading headquarters relocation (site search, fit-out, move delivery)
  • Acts as peer to Senior Director of Quality & Operational Risk, providing governance and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global EHS strategy, systems, and policies aligned with corporate objectives, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local regulations
  • Establish EHS governance, metrics, and reporting frameworks for executive oversight
  • Own SA8000 program: audit planning/execution across sites/suppliers, certification/re-certification, and CAPA management/closure
  • Drive strong safety culture (leadership behaviors, reporting, behavior-based safety, stop-work authority) and ensure global training completion/adoption
  • Lead incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action programs to reduce risk
  • Monitor latest standards, laws, best practices; translate into global policies, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps
  • Represent Fluence with regulators, customers, auditors, and industry groups on EHS matters; participate in associations
  • Oversee corporate facilities management worldwide, including growing footprint (~7 sites scaling to 12–13)
  • Lead headquarters relocation from site search through fit-out and move delivery
  • Set enterprise EHS policy, define/track KPIs, embed safety & sustainability culture, and provide governance/frameworks
