Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Python-based microservices. A deep understanding of DevOps best practices, including infrastructure as code, observability, and security is required. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ECS, Airflow, SNS, and SQS, along with proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation, is essential. Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing complex deployments, and familiarity with cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and cloud-native security and compliance are also necessary. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is required.

Responsibilities

The Senior DevOps Engineer will architect and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for containerized applications and microservices on the Kubernetes-based Ascend Platform. They will maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines, oversee deployments, and design and manage infrastructure using Terraform. This role involves leveraging AWS services to support scalable and secure deployments, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing automation to improve deployment speed and reliability. Additionally, the engineer will mentor junior DevOps engineers, foster continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to manage dependencies and reduce friction.
