Requirements

4+ years of experience in the full development lifecycle
Ability to explain solutions to technical and non-technical audience
Strong experience with DevOps & IaC tooling - CDK, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Groovy, shell scripting
Proficient with scripting language(s): Python (preferred), PowerShell, Configuration as Code principles and API integration
Familiarity in AWS technologies and principles such as Lake Formation, IAM, Glue, EC2
Experience with automated testing methodologies
Exposure to TDD and BDD
Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practice
Experience in troubleshooting and debugging production systems in AWS
Desired Skills:
Understanding of Agile methodologies
AWS Solutions Architect Certification
Experience using CloudFormation and CDK
RESTful and Microservice Architectures
Familiarity of Sonarqube and Veracode
Experience of data engineering practices

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions
Collaborate across engineering, security, and business teams to shape and lead the infrastructure and security strategy
Champion DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling
Ensure operational coverage, while driving automation and innovation using modern engineering practices
Maintain platform security posture
Review proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates, and make recommendations
Lead the infrastructure and security strategy and the technical roadmaps across the teams
Review and approve infrastructure and security configurations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals
Develop and maintain cloud-native tooling and infrastructure as code practices
Troubleshoot and debug production systems in AWS
Stay up to date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices
Participate in Agile methodologies and ensure team collaboration and communication
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud-native tooling and infrastructure as code practices
Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure alignment with business goals
