Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in e-commerce analytics, with strong expertise in merchandising metrics, sales analysis, and margin reporting
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce KPIs including sales performance by SKU/brand/vendor, promotional effectiveness, and pricing dynamics
  • Experience with pricing analysis and strategy development, including competitive positioning and price elasticity modeling
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining dashboards and reporting
  • Strong SQL skills with ability to work with complex data structures and large datasets
  • Experience with DBT, Snowflake and advanced Python techniques is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for leveraging AI and innovative analytical approaches
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with experience in opportunity sizing and impact analysis
  • Strong communication skills with ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with SKU rationalization, assortment planning, or category management is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the entire e-commerce reporting suite, including dashboards for net sales, margin analysis, and performance metrics across divisions, brands, categories, and SKUs
  • Lead the exploration and development of Babylist's pricing strategy for 2026, including research into pricing tools, competitive analysis, and recommendation of strategic direction
  • Partner with the Senior Financial Analyst to conduct impact analysis and opportunity sizing for new initiatives, particularly in growth categories and subscription programs
  • Analyze registry penetration data to identify category growth opportunities and inform merchandising strategies
  • Support good-better-best assortment planning initiatives by providing granular analysis on pricing segments and market positioning
