Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft)
- College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience (preferred)
- Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) (preferred)
- Operates independently with in-depth knowledge of business unit / function
- Acts as subject area expert providing comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership at a high technical level
Responsibilities
- Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries
- Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to clients and their investors
- Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures
- Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to obtain understanding of funds activities
- Prepare financial statements for funds
- Work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each funds annual financial statements
- Assist in building a high-performance team through learning, development, mentoring and recruiting
- Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult
- Balance high level operational execution and development with execution of strategic direction of business function activities
- Develop, implement and administer programs within functional areas strategically
