Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will collaborate with teams to integrate security best practices into cloud applications and infrastructure, review cloud architecture designs for vulnerabilities, and implement cloud-native security monitoring tools. Responsibilities include defining and enforcing cloud security guardrails, configuring alerts and automated responses, designing and managing secure IAM policies, performing IAM audits, managing GitHub security configurations, scanning Infrastructure-as-Code for misconfigurations, reviewing secrets management strategies, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, coordinating vulnerability triage, integrating cloud scanning tools into pipelines, deploying and managing container security controls, scanning container images, monitoring runtime container security, ensuring adherence to security frameworks like CIS Benchmarks and NIST, evaluating emerging cloud security threats, and participating in audits.
