Backend Software Engineer (Go Focus)

Position Overview

Mindera is seeking experienced Backend Software Engineers with a focus on Go to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in building a large service-oriented architecture within an exciting and thriving industry. We are looking for individuals with at least 5 years of experience who are passionate about solving complex problems, developing with high standards, and maintaining a holistic view of the backend platform with a focus on observability and pace.

Requirements

You're Good At:

• Service-oriented architectures, design patterns, and data structures.
• Test automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Operational aspects, including building and running highly performant applications.
• Working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Leveraging cloud providers such as GCP or AWS.
• Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps principles.

You Rock At:

• Being self-driven, self-organized, and working with minimal supervision towards team and company goals.
• Building highly concurrent, transactional, and resilient services.
• Working with various network and communication protocols (HTTP, gRPC, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Building easily maintainable and robust APIs in Go.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features in a collaborative, Agile environment.
• Write testable code and ensure agreed-upon test coverage levels are maintained.
• Document your code thoroughly.
• Take full ownership of your code from development through deployment and maintenance.
• Diagnose production issues and devise effective solutions.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively to complete tasks.
• Be an integral part of solutions design and implementation.
