Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript best practices, and experience in at least one other server-side language. Expertise in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL, including query optimization, data migrations, and database modeling is required, along with a solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns. Experience in designing scalable systems for high-volume performance, handling concurrency, idempotency, and optimizing under load is essential, as is skilled API development including input validation, JWT tokens, and queue-based systems.

Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, and Designers to create seamless experiences. They will participate in product planning from discovery to deployment and develop new features and APIs, continuously improving industry-leading products while fixing bugs efficiently.
