Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in backend software development. Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch is required, as well as experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of React/Redux and Node.js, and be comfortable working with large datasets and complex systems.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable backend endpoints, gathering product requirements and creating design documentation, and driving the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, and maintenance. You will also mentor other engineers, communicate development progress to stakeholders, introduce new technologies and ideas, and work effectively as part of a large global team, participating in scrum ceremonies and providing feedback to colleagues.
