Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with a strong understanding of backend technologies and architecture. Experience with React.js/Redux/Node.js is preferred, as is familiarity with Ruby/Ruby on Rails/MongoDB/Redis/Elasticsearch and Kubernetes/Docker/Ansible/Terraform.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and implement highly scalable backend endpoints, gather product requirements and write design documents, drive the full lifecycle of software development, mentor others on best practices, effectively communicate development progress, introduce new technologies and ideas, work effectively as part of a large global team, attend scrum ceremonies, and provide feedback to co-workers.
