BS (with >5 years’ experience), or MS (with 0-5 years’ experience) in chemistry, pharmaceutics, chemical/biomedical engineering, or related field
Hands-on knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation development and laboratory best practices
Experience authoring scientific technical documents
Effective communication and leadership skills
Experience working in matrix-like teams and collaborating with diverse scientists, globally

Support research and development of novel pharmaceutical drug products, including sterile liquids, oral solids, suspensions, topicals, and various other dosage forms
Execute discovery-stage pre-formulation studies for pharmaceutical drug candidates
Perform drug product and raw material characterization and analysis independently, such as pH, density, viscosity, hardness, etc
Operate common pharmaceutical laboratory equipment and associated processes independently
Author technical documents such as batch records, formulation memos, study protocols, development reports, etc
Perform internal safety inspections and execute corrective actions
Coordinate with internal and external partners (CROs & CMOs) throughout the development process
Ability to accommodate local, domestic, and international business travel up to 10% annually
