  • Engineering - MFG: Level Working Knowledge (assists in problem resolution/drafting specifications, works with basic/routine components in manufacturing, performs basic installation/maintenance/repairs, follows standards/policies/practices, reports unusual issues to senior staff)
  • Product Testing: Level Working Knowledge (documents test processes/results, prepares/analyzes defect-tracking reports, summarizes product-testing processes/procedures, tests components for compliance, discusses usability/safety/integration testing, develops product-testing procedures)

Responsibilities

  • Creating new electrical designs and resolves issues regarding the manufacturing or building sequences. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness
  • Participating in the adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement
  • Planning and improving engineering procedures and operations to make the product or process more reliable, efficient and cost-effective
  • Collaborating with all functional areas (marketing, purchasing, manufacturing) to provide a design solution that meets the requirements of the customer and dealer network
  • Delivery of electrical designs for low voltage power electronics components, including inverter and converter systems
  • Design, layout and simulation of printed circuit boards, bus bars, sensors, harnesses, and electronics packaging
